Our two dogs Jc and Hershey seem to like adventure. The other day my fiancé and I were registering for gifts for our wedding and we got a surprising phone call. It was my fiancé’s brother saying he just saw our two dogs about a mile from where we live. Now we were about 30 minutes from home and in the middle of registering so we could not just drop what we were doing!
Luckily my fiancé’s brother was able to round them up and take them to our home. Now I bet you are wondering how they got out in the first place…Well it turns out that we were watching a friend’s dog along with our dogs for the day and when he stopped by to pick up his dog he did not shut our gate all the way!
We thought maybe the dogs would have learned their lesson the first time when they got picked up by the pound….but it turns out they just love adventure. The good news is we have them home safe and sound. The bad news is with two dogs that love to explore we have to make sure they do not get out and get hurt or lost!
