Our cat Purl needed a new scratching post. She has had one for many years but it got so old that we had to throw it away. Now Purl is a very picky cat. If she does not like something you will know it right away! When we took out her old scratching post we knew it would be hard to find her a replacement. My fiancé and I were at the store the other day and came across a new post. We were both really excited to bring it home to her and the minute she saw it she ran the other direction! Can you believe that?
It has been a few days and unfortunately she has not grown to love her new post. In fact she avoids the new post at all costs! As for now we are still trying to figure out how to get her attached to this new post. We try to pick her up and set her on her new scratching post but we have not been successful so far ☹ If anybody has any ideas on how to get her to like her new post feel free to write me a comment. I will take all suggestions.
