I do not know about you but we had a crazy winter this year, and I don’t even think we have seen the worst of it yet! I am from Oregon and it does not usually snow in the winter. This year not only did it snow but we got at least 4 feet of snow at our house! We have two chocolate labs and they are not used to the snow. For our two dogs it was very hard to be out in the snow. Both dogs have very short hair and when it comes to the cold they are huge babies! Not only do they not like to be outside when it is cold but they refuse to be outside longer then about 15 minutes to eat there food and then run back in there kennel.
I remember one morning there was so much snow in our backyard the dogs had to leap over the pile up of snow just to get outside. I don’t know what labs think of the snow but our dogs are not big fans. Every time they had to go outside they would look at me like “Are you crazy?” I am sure that is what they were thinking.
The good news is the snow has melted and our dogs are back to going outside on a regular basis.
