When it starts getting hot outside you have to be very cautious for your animals. It can be a very dangerous time of year for many pets! When it gets hot pets can get very dehydrated and be in great danger!
For are two chocolate labs we have to make sure that if they are outside that they have plenty of water. The reason we have to keep a close watch is because when it gets really hot outside the dogs gets very dehydrated. I try to keep them inside if it gets too hot because it is just to hard on them to be out in that heat.
We keep our house very cool especially in the summer time. With our 2 chinchillas they cannot be in a temperature over 75 degrees. We blast are air conditioner and we both suffer sometimes because of how cool are house gets!
The cat is happy in pretty much any temperature but she is only an inside cat so she is always cool. We do have to make sure she has plenty of water as well!
Be sure to keep an extra eye on your pets especially in the summertime they will thank you for it!
