My fiancé and I love to spoil are dogs. We love to buy are dogs treats and good dog food. Last time when we went to the store to purchase dog food we noticed that the cost had raised about $4.00 more a bag! When we asked the store associate they said the reason dog food prices had gone up was because there was a shortage on corn!
So now not only are we being way over charged for gas we are also being overcharged for dog food! We thought about how much food we currently give the dogs because we felt like we go through dog food really fast. It turns out we are able to cut the amount of food we give them in half! This is because we were feeding them way too much! We used to give them a full cup in the morning each and a full cup on the evening each. W e have switched that up to only a half of cup each and the dogs are still getting plenty to eat.
I recommend you think twice about how much food you feed your dogs and make sure you are not making the same mistake that we were making. Especially now since the prices are going up!
