It is always important to make sure your pet is properly groomed. We have 2 chocolate labs and we take them to Pup and scrub a grooming location about once a month. At Pup and Scrub we give them a good bath and wash them with doggie shampoo and conditioner. Then we blow dry them with a dryer they have set up to use just for dogs! After that we brush there coats with a special brush and clip there nails for a finishing touch! They love to get groomed and they are always so happy when they are clean enough to come in the house for a little while.
As for our cat she pretty much grooms herself. We do brush through her hair at least a couple times a month and make sure to remove any hairballs that may have accumulated on her. She is pretty low maintenance compared to the dogs. She has long fur so we do have to give her medicine so that she does not get hairballs.
The chinchillas are the easiest to groom. That is because they need no grooming! They take care of them self’s which is always nice!
What ever type of animal you have you should always make sure they are properly groomed!
