What are some fun activities that you can do with your pet? My fiancé and I love to take are dogs to the park and play catch. We have a baseball field near by that can be closed off so we can take off the dog’s leashes and let them run free. We have a baseball that we play catch with them with.
Both dogs love to play so they will try to out run each other to be “the” dog to get the ball and bring it back. It exposes them to a little competition, which I am sure they are familiar with. It also gets them out of the backyard and in an area where they can run free and just be themselves. I think that it is important that dogs are able to get out with out having a leash on if you have an enclosed area you can let them run free in.
Next time you are looking to do something fun with your dog try to find a near by park that has an area where he or she can run free in and play some catch. If your dog has a doggie friend that he plays with see if his friend can come to for some friendly competition!
